TOTAL NUMBER OF KNIVES :  1

MAKER :   Frost Cutlery (Japan)

PATTERN :   Boot Knife and Original Leather Sheath. 

LENGTH :   Blade length is 4 7/8th inches and the OAL 8¾ inches.

HANDLES :   Metal with gray enamel coat. There are chips in the enamel covering the handle but otherwise solid as can be. 

TANG STAMPS :   The ricasso has the Frost Logo followed by FROST CUTLERY (over) SURGICAL STEEL JAPAN.

CONDITION :   I'd call the knife mint with enamel chips on the handle. 

DAMAGE :   None, other than the chips in the enamel.

BOX:   None

AGE :   Late 1970s or early 1980s clearly before Frost moved to that other country.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN :   Japan

BLADE WEAR :   None

SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH :   There is no shield and the blade is etched TEXAS (over) TOOTHPICK.  

ADDITIONAL INFO :   Clearly, this is not the pattern that is usually called a Texas Toothpick but I guess Mr. Frost can call his knives whatever he wants to call them.
