Richards Sheffield England 1950s Near Mint Mirror Polish Cracked Ice Handles 7 Functions
Richards was originally a German knife co. in Solingen, owned by two Jewish brothers that saw the writing onm the wall and left Germany and settled in Sheffield, changing the spelling of the brand from the German. They did very well supplying the edged weapons to the British war effort during WWI and became one of the largest knife manufacturers in the world; they closed in 1983. This 3 1/2" folder has seven functions including the bail. In NOS condition, tight with loud snap on all blades both ways. I notice that the master blade has had some light honing but no sign of any use.
