3 1/2" British WWII Army Jack Knife, Manufactured by Davenport Cutlery Company, 1940
Original British Army-issued folding jack knife, manufactured by Davenport Cutlery Company (DCC) and dated 1940.
Features a spear point blade and can opener, with black Derlin handles, steel liners.
The main blade is tang stamped DCC (Davenport Cutlery Company). The can opener is stamped 1940 along with the British Broad Arrow acceptance mark, confirming official military issue.
This rugged pattern was standard issue to British and Commonwealth forces during World War II and was widely used by the Army, Royal Navy, and RAF. Built for durability and practical field use, it remains one of the most recognizable and collectible British military pocket knives of the WWII era.
The handle on one side has a missing section (please refer to the photos). The blades have an honest age patina with some dark spots, consistent with their age.
Approx. 3 1/2" closed. Strong snap on the can opener but no snap on the blade, no wobble or play.
