Benchmade 9700S Emerson Knife ATS-34 Tanto G10 Rare

This Benchmade 9700S is an Emerson design, combining Benchmade’s build quality with Ernest Emerson’s distinctive blade style. It features a 3.875" bead blasted ATS-34 blade with a chisel grind, tanto profile, partial serrations, swedge, and a notched thumb ramp, giving it both aggressive styling and functional cutting performance.

The handle is constructed with black G10 scales over a polymer backspacer, paired with a black coated steel clip set for tip-down, right-hand carry, and a lanyard hole at the pommel. The knife measures approximately 9.25" overall with a closed length of 5.375" and weighs 4.8 ounces. It operates via a push-button mechanism and functions as it should.

This example has been used and carried, with visible wear consistent with handling. The Benchmade and Emerson markings are faded, and there is some carbon staining present on the blade. It does not appear to have been sharpened, though to be conservative it may have been, however the blade maintains its original profile and grind. The knife remains in good overall condition with solid action and functionality.
