Vintage 1940s Finnish Tuohituppi Puukko Knife with Birchbark Sheath #8710
DESCRIPTION
An extraordinary vintage Finnish 'Tuohituppi' puukko knife manufactured by an unknown master approximately in the 1940s Finland. The wooden handle is fitted with beautifully decorated brass mounts. The clip-pointed unfullered steel blade has no markings. The skillfully made birchbark sheath is decorated with birchbark collars and swinging birchbark dice. The sheath comes with the original leather belt strap.
CONDITION
The knife is in good vintage condition with small signs of overall wear especially on the handle varnish. The knife fits well in its sheath.
