Vintage 1990s Finnish Tuohipää Puukko Knife by Iisakki Järvenpää Kauhava #8705
DESCRIPTION
A vintage Finnish 'Tuohipää' puukko knife manufactured by Iisakki Järvenpää workshop in Kauhava, Finland, approximately in the 1990s. The handle, made of varnished birchbark rings, has nickelsilver mounts. The fullered stainless steel blade is etch-marked by the manufacturer. The back-stitched leather sheath comes with a leather belt strap.
CONDITION
The knife is in good, seemingly unused vintage condition with small signs of wear. There are a few cracks in the lacquered surface of the handle, running parallel to the bark rings. An old price sticker has left its mark on the upper handle mount. The knife fits well in its sheath.
