ADDITIONAL INFO:      As near as I can tell from the Camillus catalogs the Camillus Promaster 895B was introduced in the late 1980s and discontinued in the mid-1990s. The Double Offset Lock Back was patented it under U.S. Patent Number 4, 805,303. The blades are 440 stainless steel and the liners and springs are also stainless steel. The strong Kraton handles are checkered for a good grip and the stainless steel liners reinforce the handles. The knife weighs in at a beefy 7.3 ounces and comes with a black nylon sheath. Unfortunately the sheath I have with this knife is a Western sheath not a Camillus sheath. This knife was made about the time that Camillus purchased Western (circa 1991) and the sheath fits this knife perfectly.
