From my personal collection comes this 2003 Marbles Grand Dad barlow made under the watchful eye of Dave Shirley.  Marbles set out to make slip joint knives back in 2001 and bought parts from Queen and they were assembled in Gladstone Michigan.  They continued to make knives until 2003, after that all Marbles slip joints were made in China.  

This grand dad barlow has wooden handles that are chip and crack free.  The carbon steel blade has not been used or resharpened and retains its factory edge.  There is a spot of corrosion on the mark side of the blade, see photos.  I recently pulled this knife out for inspection and was surprised to find this spot on the blade, there seems to have been some interaction with the brass liner that caused this corrosion, which is why I am letting this one go.  Measures 5" closed OAL.  Good snap and no wobble or play.  Comes with the original box.  Free shipping within the USA.
