Vintage 1950s Finnish Härmän Puukko Knife by Iisakki Järvenpää Kauhava #8681
DESCRIPTION
A very early version of a vintage Finnish 'Härmän' puukko knife manufactured most probably by Iisakki Järvenpää workshop in Kauhava, Finland, approximately in the 1950s. The varnished masur birch handle is fitted with brass mounts. The unfullered carbon steel blade has no visible markings. The back-stitched leather sheath is fitted with large brass mounts typical for the Härmän puukko, and it comes with a leather belt strap.
CONDITION
The knife is in beautiful, untouched vintage condition with small signs of overall wear. The brass mounts have a few small dents and the tip of the sheath has flattened. The knife fits well in its sheath.
