Beuatiful German dagger made by Gutmann Cutlery in Solingen Germany. About 10 1/4" with a 6" blade. Has wooden handle pcs with nickel silver trim - I think. The shame is the sheath. It is not original to the knife and is in poor condition. Has a wire staple in it to help keep it together. Top keeper strap is broken. From what I read on-line this was a sailor's knife and was carried off the hip. Knife and blade could use polishing. Great blade etch on this. Knife is stamped G.C. Co. Solingen Germany.
