Part of a recent 37 piece collection of knives purchased from a fellow AAPK member.  This collection includes many Marbles by Dave Shirley, Wendell Carson, S&M, Robeson, some very special Kabar knives and a few others.  

Marble Arms set out in 2001 to produce high quality American made traditional pocket knife patterns.  They contracted with Queen under Dave Shirley's supervision to produce all the parts for these knives and they were delivered to Marbles MSA in Gladstone MI for assembly and fit and finish.  After the first run of only 400 total knives made, Marbles came into severe financial problems and gave up on the MI assembly.  The production of knives done in 2002 and 2003 were done by Queen under the watchful eye of Dave Shirley at Queens custom shop.  After this all the Marbles knives were made in China. 

This is a stockman made in 2001.  The scales are deep blue Italian, or pin feather jigged bone that is chip and crack free.  The blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.  Measures 4 3/8" closed OAL.  Good snap and no wobble or play.  No box, but I will include a zippered storage pouch.
