This is a Scrap Yard Knife Works Dumpster Mutt, Limited Edition. SYKW is a sister company of Busse Combat Knives. It has a 5" long, 1/4" thick blade of SR-77 Steel. Handle is 4 1/2 inches long, made of Resiprene C over a hidden full tang. Res C is similiar to Kraton, but denser, tougher, and more heat and chemical resistant. The "S" denotes shock resistant tool steel, and the "S" steels are the toughest of all tool steels. They are used primarily for impact tool applications such as punches, shear blades, and jack hammer bits. If you want or need the toughest of the tough you can't beat a Scrap Yard knife.
