Geo. Schrade Presto automatic folding knife, used.

This knife comes from my grandfather's collection that I recently inherited.  I don't know how he came by this knife other than he was an outdoorsman, and liked to visit local flea markets. That's my only knowledge of it, as I am not a professional kinfe dealer by any means.

Looks to me like the handles of this knife have been replaced by someone in its history, though I don't know who.  It's possible my grandfather did this, but I didn't know him well enough to know either way.  There is a diamond pattern carved into it, and it is relatively done well as far as I can tell.  There is a soft spot near the bolsters on the side with the button, I don't know if that's intentional or if the wood is starting to deteriorate, but it's not something that is easily seen, you can just feel it with your finger.

The knife itself work pretty well.  It snaps open, stays locked open and stays locked when closed.  While it's open, it's got plenty of wobble, but no more wobble than I've seen in other knives of this same type.  It's clearly old and used, and has plenty of patina on it. I haven't done any kind of cleaning or restoration to it, it is in the same condition I found it along with the rest of his knives.
