YORK CUTLERY started early 1950's in York, PA. importing quality knives from Solingen (& later from Japan). This #545 is probably fron the early years. This Bushcraft/Hunter looks to be in New shape. The mirror polished blade looks untouched, stacked leather handle with spacers at each end is intact without nucks, dents ir scratches. Brass guard & (steel ir aluminum) pommel without nicks, dents or scratches. Original leather sheath is still supple without cracks. The keeper snap is wide & some stitches are missing on the sheath-see pics. Unbelievable condition for an almost 75 year old. 9" total length.
