This knife is 4.75" closed and was only available when new in 1988 in the correct green clam shell presentation box. This knife is referenced in Joseph Kerr's book '600 Scout Knives' as #BUC03BR as supported by the accompanying images. This was valued based on the near mint grade of this knife and recent sales for the same knife. The American walnut handles are without imperfections and are factory fresh. The main blade depicts a banner of 1938-1988 and an image of Philmont's Tooth of Time Mountain in gold and the remainder of the scene in black etch. The integrated brass bolsters and frame are in a condition commensurate with the grade of this knife.   This knife comes from a smoke/vape and pet-free home, will be carefully packed, promptly shipped and tracking numbers will be provided.
