Marbles MSA Knives, Tear Drop Jack Folding Knife, USA Made In 2001

Marbles MSA Knives, Tear Drop Jack Folding Knife, USA Made In 2001.

The Tear Drop Jack is a 2 blade knife with an easy open cutout and buffalo horn scales. 2001 was the first year of production and the #'s were low. The process was for Schatt & Morgan to make the parts and the knives assembled and finished in Gladston MI with scales provided by Dave Shirley, the owner of the company. I've heard he thoughts his scale material and process was superior. I also remember reading that Mike Stewart, the Bark River Knives guy, was involved the first year of production.

- Never carried, used or sharpened. Has bug bites in the handle that are pictured. Also has some tarnish on one bolster. There are light scuffs and scratches from handling and storage. I don't see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately.

- Functions great, excellent snap opening and closing on both the blades. Comfortable pull on both blades as well.

- Handle 3.875 inches, main blade 3 inches, secondary blade 2 inches.

- Includes box from an English Jack in Horn and storage pouch.

WANT LIST: I do my best to maintain an inventory of interesting and unique knives. I'm always looking for single pieces and collections. My current switchblade focus includes Miniature & Keychain, Vintage Imports from Europe (Spain, France, Italy, etc.) & Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc.), RPK's, Bullfighters, older Microtechs & Daltons and some other American Switchblades. I also like interesting miniature knives and arms, 1980's Import Balisongs, Coutel, Digby's (Graham Clayton) and older Great Eastern Cutlery folders.

ABOUT: I've been into knives since I was a kid. I always seemed to have a small accumulation of them in my dresser drawer for example. I started carrying one regularly in 1991 when I was in the US Army stationed in Panama. My knife collecting days started around 2010 and in 2021 I decided to become a dealer.

I'm still a collector so I understand the fun and excitement of finding a new treasure. Because of that I always do my best to give accurate information about my knives and their condition. I take lots of pictures and offer video's for all the switchblades and some of the other knives I sell. I research sales prices and other available information and have a great network of dealers and collectors to draw from. All that said, I still make mistakes so please let me know if something I say is innacurate or misleading.
