Vintage Shell Puller Lever Lock Switchblade Knife, Japan.

Here's a hard to find shell puller variation with a clip point blade. It's marked SPRINGER on the bottom front bolster. There is some text on the blade however I'm not sure what is says.

Based on the information I found, I believe it was made in Japan. The common element on the ones from Japan are the weird looking shell pullers. The liners are steel, the bolsters, lever and bale are brass. .

- The knife is used. The blade has patina and has been sharpened poorly on the back side. The knife has scuffs, scratches and peaks slightly when closed. I don't see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately. 

- Functions well, fires ok and locks up with lots of blade play.

- 7.5 inch total length, 3 inch blade.

ABOUT: I've been into knives since I was a kid. I always seemed to have a small accumulation of them in my dresser drawer for example. I started carrying one regularly in 1991 when I was in the US Army stationed in Panama. My knife collecting days started around 2010 and in 2021 I decided to become a dealer. 

I'm still a collector so I understand the fun and excitement of finding a new treasure. Because of that I always do my best to give accurate information about my knives and their condition.
