Small #55 lockback pattern made by Buck USA. This was made for the 2011 National Knife Collector’s Association youth knife. Buck supplied the skeleton knives to Michael Prater of Painted Pony in Georgia, who then added his unique handles and placed the shields, and did the blade laser etch.

Approximately 300 knives were made. It measures 3 ½ inch closed. It has “Fools Gold” mica pearl handles, round NKCA shield, brass liners, and curved brass bolsters. The front side blade is etched “NKCA 2011 Youth Knife” and the rear is etched “Painted Pony Signature Series Flintstone GA USA”.

This knife comes in the original box, and includes the original Certificate of Authenticity from Painted Pony.

The knife is in like-new condition. I am the original owner. It has never been used or sharpened. The blade is flawless, and the handles are free of any defects. The blade locks up tight, releases easily, and snaps closed.
