This is a custom tactical knife by maker Robert Rhodes (Bear Paw Forge) located in Arkansas. It has a full tang blade with modified Tanto point. The handles are textured G10. The blade is crucible steel The maker explained the process as “The crucible steel used to forge that blade is an iron ore powder. Combined with a ten ninety five carbon steel powdered ore, With a small amount of stainless steel powder. When heated in the crucible it formed the ingot combining the molecular structure of all materials within the ingot, then was forged out into a solid bar. And then forged to shape rough ground and polished. The color Is an acid bath natural steel color.” The sheath system is a custom black leather, fully adjustable shoulder harness that carries the knife and sheath in an inverted, horizontal position. (The sheath system is very similar to the Miami Classic firearms shoulder holsters and uses similar removable screws for fitting to the wearer.) The sheath can be removed and worn as a belt sheath.
