Here we have a VERY cool and unique communist knife, the People's Republic of China (PRC) Police Dagger (PD). What's so cool about this one is how the blade extends out of the handle when u sheathed. Hold the square button down and pull handle from the upper sheath with belt clip and you're holding the knife with blade fully extended. To sheath, place tip of Blade in upper sheath then place the tip of charging rod directly under the round button and hold button down to unlock blade and close handle and sheath locking it back in the closed position. Works very well just as was designed to. Guesstimating knife was made in the early 1980's. Butch Vallotton made a better customized version of this called the 2 Step Necker- truly badass! This is the fourth one I've owned, I even had a Russian model which had a sickle on the tang instead of the star. Very unique knife of our enemy.
