This miniature Masterpiece is by CW Shoemaker. This is a real U.S. penny laser cut bowie knife with genuine ivory pinned (not glued which would separate years later) to the handle. Hard to get best quality pics using my cellphone, but the makers mark (his name) is etched on the blade. Helps to have a magnifying glass to see, but it's there! After all the work making this tiny bowie knife, the penny is used to house it for display. Knife and penny have its own case to display without getting seperated/lost. One of the finest crafted miniatures EVER! Always a great unique collectible that never fails to get a 'WOW! That is incredible!' response from whoever sees it. And most people have never seen one of these before. Due to all the time involved making it, only so many are made every year. I used to give these as Christmas presents years back, and haven't had any luck recently trying to obtain more of them. Lower 48 shipping only
