Sheath Shows No Sign of Ever Being on A Belt But Does Show Handling And Storage. Not Surprising Considering Its Age. My Book List The Hatchet Handle Markings As 1932-1940. Long Time Ago. It Is Amazing That Some of This Stuff Is Still Around And Still In Great Condition. Please Check All Photos Use Magnify As They Say More About Condition Than I Can. Mirror Polish Blade Is 4 3/4" And Does Have A Few Tiny Scratches or Rubs. Factory Edges Are Sharp!. Lock Up In Handle Is Very Tight No Wiggles or Wobbles. Wooden Handle Is Chip And Crack Free And Great Color Match. No Looseness. Bolsters Have A Few Tiny Dings And Pings But Minor. Hatchet Is 6 3/4" Long. Cutting Edge Approx. 2 1/2". Photos Will Show A Few Minor Scratches And Rubs From Sheath And Handling. Lock Up In Handle Is Very Tight. No Wiggles or Wobbles. Not Sure What Happened on Retaining Strap on Sheath Extra Hole By Snap(?). Snap Works Fine. Stitches Have Come Loose or Been Cut Along The Hatchet Cutting Edge And There Is An Extra Hole On Back Side(?). Not Sure Why. Pre-owned. Came From A Private Collection.
