Up for sale is a vintage, original Schrade USA 153UH Uncle Henry "Golden Spike" fixed blade hunting knife. This classic clip-point bowie remains an iconic piece of American cutlery craftsmanship from the Ellenville, NY factory.

​This package comes complete with its original vintage factory box and the original heavy-duty leather sheath (complete with the sharpening stone pocket).

​Condition Report:

​Blade: Excellent structural shape with a full profile and a very sharp edge. Please note there are some light storage oil marks/spots on both sides of the blade that I was unable to remove.

​Factory Etch: The original "SCHRADE SUPER-SHARP" factory blade etch is present, though the bottom half of the word "SHARP" is slightly faded/light as shown in the photos.

​Handle & Guard: Flawless staglon handle scales with deep, rich coloring and no chips or cracks. The contoured finger grooves feel excellent in hand. The brass guard (stamped with the Uncle Henry signature) and solid brass pommel show a beautiful natural patina.

​Sheath: The original brown leather sheath is in great, sturdy condition with all stitching intact, a crisp snap, and minimal wear.

​Box: The original factory box is included. It is structurally complete but does show typical shelf wear, some creasing, and has black marker pricing written on the top face as pictured.
