​Bolsters: Beautiful solid brass. Please note there are three small dark spots on the front-top bolster near the pivot pin (clearly highlighted in the close-up photos). They look like minor storage patina/tarnish spots and have not been buffed or cleaned to preserve the knife's original state. The remaining bolsters are brilliant.

​Mechanism: Crisp, authoritative walk and talk with a rock-solid lockup and a powerful factory snap. Zero blade play.
