​Up for your consideration is a rare, vintage Schrade USA 12OT Old Timer "Pal" single-blade pocket knife, complete with its original factory box and paperwork.

​This specific knife features a beautiful, crisp factory blade etch reading: "Compliments Of Schrade Cutlery 1991" surrounded by a decorative scroll. This was a special run directly from the Ellenville, NY factory making it a fantastic addition to any Old Timer or Schrade history collection.

​Condition Report:

​Blade: Appears completely unused with a full profile and sharp factory edge. There is a layer of dried factory storage oil/grease on both sides of the carbon steel blade. I have explicitly chosen not to clean or wipe the blade to avoid any risk of altering or rubbing the historic 1991 factory etching—I will leave the cleaning preference entirely up to the new owner.

​Handles: The classic smooth brown Delrin covers look pristine, but please note that small pin cracks have begun to form around one pin on each side of the handle (visible under close inspection near the center pins, a common occurrence with aging factory pin tension). The Old Timer shield is tight and flush.

​Mechanism: Excellent walk and talk with a smooth draw and strong factory snap.

​Box & Paperwork: Includes the original matching 12OT factory box, which shows only light shelf wear and crisp end flaps, along with the original Schrade care insert.
