When I was packing up the knife I noticed a dark line under the surface. It’s very small and I am told it’s called a fissure. It’s not a surface crack and definitely not anything you feel when you run your fingernail over it. It’s clearly below the surface. I’ve included a close-up picture at the end of the current pictures. I’m also reducing the price some just as a courtesy, but review for yourselves as I have been told they’re not a risk. It’s just a little bonus, as once again the rest of the knife is quite awesome. Thanks for your understanding.

The smooth bone scales are pristine with no chips or cracks. The nickel-silver bolsters show only incredibly minor surface handling marks from storage.
