L’Alpin  Le  Sabot Pocket Knife

This is a L'Alpin Pocket knife measuring 4" Closed, 7 5/8" open with a 3 5/8" blade with a 3.25" cutting edge.  This is a clip point blade that is stamped "L'Alpin Le Sabot", the tang is stamped "France" and 12C27 sandvik.  The blade has a belt finish and I'm suggesting that it is a carbon steel blade as i sharpened it and it's extremely sharp.  There is a half stop and the knife has a 5.5 pull and excellent walk and talk.  There is a slight back and forth blade wobble, but it is hardly noticeable and the blade is easily pinched.  The blade is centered and the well has a metal butt end that was close to the blade which i reduced slightly to avoid blade rap.  All in all a robust, handsome knife of good size with a generous blade.  This would be an excellent heavy duty working knife for home and garden.  Handle is smooth and nothing proud.  Please see pictures for details and condition, we only ship to addresses in the US.
