This is a badge style shield used on Camillus brand pocket knives during the company's 4 line tang stamp era. Not certain if the use of this exact badge style was ever reintroduced & used on more recent productions. Note that the shield was pined through to the liner on the 4 line tang stamped knives.

The shield style on this one may be a bit hard to define exactly, but I would call it a propeller or bow tie. Some might call it a gimp style. Regardless of semantics, it was used on Camillus brand pocket knives during the company's 4 line tang stamp era.

This is a bomb style shield used on Camillus brand pocket knives during the company's earlier years. I've seen them on the sword brand knives made between 1941 - 1946. Not certain if the use of this exact bomb style extended beyond that.
