Michael May Knives, of Sheffield England...The Clayton Barlow with Snakewood scales and Clip Point Blade. Beautiful elongated bolster made from brass, with brass loners and pins. Blade steel is from 01 Tool Steel, as is the back spring. The blade is a little smaller in width than his traditional barlow clip blade. The scales are made from stabalized Snakewood with it's rich figuring and grain. The knife handle is slightly longer than the Traditional Sheffield barlows, and has a slight curve much like a Trapper paterned knive which make the profile of the knife quite elegant and offers a great feel in the working hand. Like all May knives, they have a strong lock in at the full open position and very smooth action.
