10" Hubertus German "Slimline" Springer Stiletto, 14cm Black Micarta, Filework, EXPORT MODEL, NOS vintage collector knife, c.1984

40 years old, from vintage knife collection being liquidated by estate sale.

Rare black linen micarta scales.  Original filework on blade back by Hubertus.  Stored open in paper wrapper since purchased; never sharpened, used or carried.  Works as new, with strong lockup.  No peek.

Typical new old stock vintage condition shows small scuff marks from manufacturing, storage and handling.  25.1cm (9 15/16") opened, 14cm closed, 11.1cm polished flat ground drop-point blade with Hubertus factory filework. Thumb lever both automatically opens and releases blade for manual closing.

This rare & highly-collectible oversized Hubertus automatic knife is an "export only" slimline model, which due to its size, was prohibited from sale or possession within Germany.  This series, featuring the "W-GERMANY" gray blade etch, was solely-manufactured at the old Hubertus Factory between 1984 - 1988.  Knives made after 1988 lack the "W" in the etch, and were made at alternate authorized locations.
