From a recent Schatt and Morgan collection purchased from a fellow AAPK member.  This is a locking humpback whittler.  This was the last pattern of the Premier Series.  This was the most difficult of the patterns that S&M made.  It was based on a pattern last made in 1917 by Remington.  It was said that Queen had so much difficulty making this that they made less than the promised 400.  This has Golden Root jigged bone handles that are chip and crack free.  The blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.  Made in 2008.  Pinched and fluted bolsters.  The blades have decent snap.  Seems like the smaller blades on all these humpback whittlers are a bit weak compared to the main blade.  Measures 3 5/8" closed OAL.  Comes with the original box.  Free shipping within the USA.
