This is a Winchester Buffalo Series split back spring whittler made by Blue Grass Cutlery in 2003.  The handles are burnt orange jigged bone that is chip and crack free.  The blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.  The pull on the main blade is a hard 8 and the smaller blades have a pull that is more like a 5.  This is by design.  This is the way whittlers were made a hundred years ago before linerlocks and lockbacks, this puts the tension of two springs onto the one main blade to keep it open while in use.  Measures 4" closed OAL.  Good snap and no wobble or play.  Comes with the original box and paperwork.  There are a few minor blade rub marks on the blades which is common with multi-bladed knives.  Free shipping within the USA.
