Case Mini Copperlock. Torched Midnight Stag. 1998. Model 51749L. Item #2265. 

This is the rarest version of the Midnight Stag series, which was an SFO by Shepherd Hills in 1998. 

There were five versions of the Midnight Stag Copperlock made (1,000 total of the large knives and 1,000 total of the mini knives): 

• Midnight Stag Large Copperlock / Floating Dots Tang Stamp / "Midnight Stag" etch on one side of the blade / "First Production Run" etch on the other side / 1997 
• Midnight Stag Large Copperlock / Floating Dots Tang Stamp / "Midnight Stag" etch on one side of the blade / no etch on the other side / 1997
• Midnight Stag Large Copperlock / Floating Dots Tang Stamp / "Midnight Stag" etch on one side of the blade but much smaller than the others / no etch on back 
• Midnight Stag Mini Copperlock / Long Tail C Tang Stamp / "Midnight Stag" with "First Production Run" under it on one side of the blade / no etch on the other side (700 made)
• Torched Midnight Stag Mini Copperlock / Long Tail C Stamp / No blade etching (300 made) 

I have three of the others for sale as well. Box included but not the original. 

Nice knife. Unused. Unsharpened. No wobble. No cracks or chips. Beautiful stag. "XX" on bolster.
