7 3/4" Hubertus German Classic Springer, "Ivory", NOS vintage collector knife, c.1984

40+ years old, from vintage knife collection being liquidated by estate sale.

Stored open in paper wrapper since purchased; never sharpened, used or carried. Works as new, with strong lockup.

According to the Hubertus website, these are genuine "Ivory" scales.  However, without a DNA test, it's uncertain if the scales are sourced from "Mammoth", "Elephant", "Walrus", or other "Tusk" material; seller cannot guarantee the type of tusk material used. These uncorrected color photos were shot against a medium-gray paper background, to produce the most accurate rendition of the scale colorations.

Typical new old stock vintage condition shows small scuff marks from manufacturing, storage and handling.  7 3/4" opened, 4 3/8" closed, 3 1/4" brushed satin flat-ground drop-point blade with nail nick.  No peek. Thumb lever both automatically opens and releases blade for manual closing.
