This is a Winchester Cartridge Series whittler, probably made by Queen, in 1998. This is a split backspring whittler which focuses the force of two backsprings onto the main blade to supply added pressure to keep the knife open, this is an old fashioned design that was used before lockbacks and liner locks were ever thought of.  The handles are some beautiful stag that is chip and crack free.  The blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.  30-30 cartridge sheild.  Measures 4 1/2" closed OAL.  Good snap and no wobble or play.  Comes with the original box.  Free shipping within the USA.
