Unique All Ivory Handle, Spine and Wharncliffe Blade Vaccination Knife. Unknown maker and age, the knife is Ivory with what looks like Brass Pins and Shield. Very unique, never seen another like it. 

Here's additional information I received from a collector (https://collection.powerhouse.com.au/object/161411): "Ivory vaccination knife or lancet, probably English, from the early 19th century. This tool for smallpox vaccination has an ivory blade that folds into an ivory handle, the handle secured with metal pins."

- The knife may have been used. It has minor nicks and scuffs from handling and storage. The blade is off center when closed. I don't see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately. 

- It functions ok, the blade is tight opening/closing with no snap opening/closing. 

- Approximately 5.5 inch total length, approximately 2.25 inch blade. 

- Includes Knife with older looking snapping pocket sheath.
