This vintage knife has a special etch on the blade. It says Kuno Ritter Solingen with his initial inside of a circle on the blade. Kuno Ritter of coarse was the original founder of Hubertus Knives in 1932. In addition it says Hubertus Germany along with the Hubertus logo. This Large size 11 Hubertus automatic has beautiful Gold Lip Pearl handles and filework throughout. This 1 of 1 knife was done by Gerry Vessella who has been doing this for 40 years that I know of. Gerry never does two the same so his knives are always 1 of 1. I have personally been using Gerry for about 35 years and his work is absolutely wonderful. The knife works perfectly the way it was designed, and fires with power and has no peak. This one has a Spear-Point blade which is also fileworked and the red spacers really set the knife off (please see pictures). The large size 11 is about 7 5/8 inches long with the blade open.
