From a small collection recently purchased.  This is a Robeson Mastercraft fiddleback whittler made by Queen when Bill Howard was overseeing the quality at Queen.  This fiddleback whittler, also a split backspring whittler, has blue Italian or pin feather jigged handles that are chip and crack free.  The color is darker on the pile side than the mark side.  The blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.  One of just 200 made.  Measures 3 1/2" closed OAL.  Good snap and no wobble or play.  The pull on the main blade is about a 7 or 8 with the smaller blades closer to a 4 or 5.  The hard pull on the main blade is by design to focus the two backsprings onto the one larger blade to keep it from closing when it's open.  That's also why the backspring is split to increase the force on that point of contact.  Comes with a Queen box not the original Robeson box.  Free shipping within the USA.
