This is a nice old original Remington "New England Whaler" rope knife.  The tang stamp indicates 1933-1935 production.  The master sheepfoot blade is very near full and features nice swedging and a long pull.  The secondary pen blade has been poorly sharpened and shows a fair amount of blade loss.  The black composite handles are chip and crack free and stamped "New England Whaler" on the mark side.  Both blades open and close with good snap.  This would make a nice addition to any vintage knife collection.
