~ Case XX Classic Big 6391 " PROTOTYPE " Split Back Spring Whittler ~ Here for your consideration is an Outstanding , Beautiful and Mint Case XX Classic Big 6391 " PROTOTYPE " Split Back Spring Whittler. As with nearly all Classics, the knife does have the common blade rub. This Case Classic Split Backspring " PROTOTYPE " Whittler knife features the Tan Jigged Bone scales with the Case Bowtie shield and is 4 5/8" closed. The Spear Master Blade is features the XX Stamp with the Double Pulls and is tang stamped: CASE BROTHERS, BRADFORD,PA, 19USA90.The rear side of the master blade is pattern stamped TESTED XX 6391 and is engraved with the Trademarked Case Long Tail C " PROTO ". Prototypes were usually only produced in lots of about 10, which makes this one a very rare bird indeed!! Yes, this one is a Prototype and comes with the Authentic Parkers Full Page Size Certificate of Authenticity! All 3 blades are tang stamped. This is a mark of quality. The Sheepfoot blade is tang stamped: CASE BROTHERS, TESTED XX, BRADFORD, PA and another feature that sets this one apart from the others is the Spey Blade Tang Stamp ~ which reads: W R CASE & SONS.
