Vintage Italian OTF Trapdoor automatic switchblade knife made in maniago Italy ,this is the second model made with the wire tensioner added for trapdoor, this knife was recently found in attic of old warehouse in Maniago Italy where these were made back in 1962 or 63 never owned or played with by anyone it is new old stock direct from factory, this is the Brazilian cow-horn handled model with chrome plated brass frame ,both bottom bolsters have deep dent (see pics) , brass pins secure the brazilian horn handles, 1 very tiny bug bite on back handle , tiny crack at top front handl pin and hairline thin crack from bottom bolster up side about 2 inches very hard to see need magnifying glass to see it but its there (see pictures), 8-1/4" in open position , stainless steel blade stamped ( C.JUL HERBERTZ IMPORT) on front tang and ( Patent Rostfrei) on back tang, original red dot safety , nickel/silver button and safety cap, everything works as intended. these work by pointing downwards push button blade will eject automatically, to close turn blade upwards push button blade will fall back into handle then use trapdoor to push blade down to cock it for next firing. knife is in "as found" condition , being sold "as is" , any questions please ask.
