Michael May Traditional Sheffield Barlow Knife with Clip Point blade and Gorgeous Bog Oak scales. This knife is brand new, never been used or sharpened. It was hand made by one of Sheffield's truly great cutlers from start to finish. I have three (3) of these knives in stock, so ask for photos of the one of your choice...Michaels knives have a nice fit and finish and wonderful feel in the hand, and they are made to work!

The Blade steel is from C70 Carbon steel Sheffield England, the Back spring is also from C70. The Liners are made from Brass, as is the Bolster which has a polished finish. The open length is 6.5", and closed the knife is 3.5"...the Clip Point blade length is 2.5" and the Tang stamp: "Michael May Sheffield England" The Knife does not have a half stop, and has a 5-6 pull, and good snap at closure. The Scales are from beautiful Bog Oak which as wonderful coloration and grain detail. The knife has a very nice finished polish with the gleeming bolsters contrasting the Bog Oak. For work, or special occaisons this would be a welcome addition to your collection!
