This .300 Savage Canoe is a single blade, lockback folder from the late 70's to early 80's era; after AG Russell bought Bertram Cutlery and they were still operating out of Solingen, Germany.

This sweet little piece has a special place in my heart, as it was the first collector's knife I discovered after buying a sizeable lot of TSA knives. I had never seen this logo or heard of the brand before holding this knife in my hand. After days researching and reading about H&R I knew I had caught the bug. Until lately, I was hesitant to put her up for sale. I have displayed her proudly on my table at a couple gun shows, yet everyone seemed to be in a hurry and sadly overlooked this humble and unassuming knife. But I knew that we would find her a good home soon enough. I figured someone at APPK would know her worth. 

She's still in great shape with light scratches on the blade and moderate scratches on the handles, but the blade seems to have its factory edge. Great snap and half stop. No wobble or play. This is a solid, quality knife!

Brushed metal finish with brass (colored?) .300 bullet cartridge shield.
