Western WWII Knife Double Steel Guard Double Tang Pinned Fiber Pommel 10" OAL Tang Stamped Western
A dead giveaway for a wartime Western is the double steel guard and the fiber mottled pommel. The double tang can be seen at the end of the pommel, where the steel is visible. The stacked leather handle is intact and in very good shape for its age. The tang is stamped Western/Boulder Colo/Pat. No. 1,967,479. The patent had to do with the double tang construction. No damage, just carefully used. Comes in a well-fitted Cordura sheath.
