Antique(ca. 1919) WESTERN STATES(arc), BOULDER, COLO, #5394 JUMBO Stockman's Pattern Pocket Knife
This massive RARE, hard-to-find JUMBO stockman's knife is approximately 4 1/4" long when closed. Pictures of the knife appear in Wester States' 1919 catalog on p. 89 in the book "Knife Makers Who Went West". All three blade tangs are stamped but, the Western States arc log has been obliterated except on the spey blade where remnants of the Wester States, Boulder Colo arc mark remain(see pics). The absolutely gorgeous honey brown jigged bone handles are crack/chip free and complemented by the oval nickel silver shield exactly as shown in the old catalogs. All blades snap open/closed smartly. The knife is "tight" throughout. Buyer to pay $10.00 for postage, insurance, packaging, transportation and, AAPK/Paypal's share of the shipping.
