Wendell Carson started making knives in 1998 and sourced his knife parts from various manufacturers, mostly from Queen.  Mr Carson used unique handle materials and hand finished each knife to a very high standard.  His attention to quality and the differences in handle materials is what attracted me to his knives. This is possibly the best looking knife I've ever handled, it's gorgeous.  A sway back trapper with mammoth ivory handles that are chip and crack free.  There are lines on the pile side that look like cracks but it's just natural fissures in the ivory.  The stainless steel blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.  No brass on this knife, all nickel silver components.  Measures 4 1/8" closed OAL. The main blade has just a little bit of wobble when opened, but you have to move it to notice it.  The other blade doesn't have any wobble. Both blades have good snap.   Comes with an original box, I don't think the sticker on the end is correct, it doesn't match the numbers on the blades.  Free shipping within the USA.
