Wendell Carson started making knives in 1998 and sourced his knife parts from various manufacturers, mostly from Queen.  Mr Carson used unique handle materials and hand finished each knife to a very high standard.  His attention to quality and the differences in handle materials is what attracted me to his knives. This is a reverse peanut with outer mammoth bark ivory that is chip and crack free.  It's amazing to hold a knife with handles that are over 10,000 years old.  This is one beautiful knife.  The stainless steel blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.
