This is a Wendell Carson doctor's knife.  I have been drawn to Mr Carson's knives for some time now and have been collecting them for their unique beauty and high quality standards.  Mr Carson sourced his knife parts from various manufacturers, mostly Queen Cutlery and added unique handle materials and finished these to a high standard.  This one has what I believe is jigged camel bone that has been dyed a deep brown color.  You can tell from the density of the bone that it's not run of the mill bovine bone.  The handles are chip and crack free.  The blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.  The bar shield is such a nice touch on this.  No brass on this like most other Carson knives. Measures 3 3/4" closed OAL.  Good snap and no wobble or play.  No box, but I will include a zippered storage pouch.  Free shipping within the USA.
