Great Eastern Gabon Ebony 976119 large swell center folding knife. Measures 4 5/8" closed. 3 1/2" sharp blade. The single saber blade is premium frozen forged, hammer tested, 1095 polished carbon steel. Threaded bolsters are nickel silver. The end cap and pinned cloud shield are also nickel silver. Liners and pins are brass. This knife is a Northfield, GEC's top of the line knife. It comes new in the original tube, with brown waxed paper. Gabon ebony is considered to be the finest of all the ebony woods. Made in the USA by the skilled craftsmen at Great Eastern Cutlery in Titusville, PA. Over 200 "by hand" steps went into the making of this knife. I am the original owner. This knife has been well kept in its wax paper and tube in a climate controlled environment.
