The material of the blade is a high Carbon Steel (SAE 5160)  with very high tensile strength which make the knife much strong to cut hard woods like Bamboo. 

This handmade knife was made by master "Kamal Jafari" one of the famous knife masters in Iran.

Tang stamp is maker's first name in Persian and last name in English.

Approx. 4 1/2" closed.  Good snap and no wobble or play.
